COMPETITION RESULTS! The Blooming Process...

Yesterday I set a challenge for you all, to see if anyone could guess what the process shown in below image was used for.

This PROCESS is called ‘Blooming’....

More information about this process...
One refers to this process of softening the gelatin in liquid prior to melting it. Recipes will often instruct you to bloom the gelatin in cold water for 5-10 minutes, which means to soak it. You can bloom gelatin in just about any liquid. The other use of Bloom refers to the firmness of gelatin.

SO WHAT DID I MAKE WITH THIS......

Could it be either:-

1, Making Sourdough - WRONG
2, Kombucha Jellies - CORRECT
3, Kids Gummy Bears - WRONG
4, Making Crumpets - WRONG

So the TWO lucky WINNERS are....

Kathy Ann Clover
Claire Watson

THANKYOU FOR EVERYONE THAT TOOK PART!
